It's silly season - Grimsby sack Michael Jolley

Slade wasn't actually sacked, technically. He accepted an approach from Cardiff after WasteMan Becchetti made his position more or less untenable.

I wouldn't compare those times to this. We made a mistake with Fletcher, and acted swiftly (one suspects workplace relationships weren't working). But the recruitment processes need to be sharpened up. All a bit embarrassing, but not necessarily a bad decision.

Given Tan United picked up Russel Slade after he was ignominiously sacked by Orient, I'm backing former Welsh international Fletcher to replace Warnock.

Strong rumours online at least that Carl Fletcher might be leaving Orient after less than a month in charge. https://twitter.com/theorienthour/status/1194983610522230784

    Statement at 3.30 apparently.

Warnock to Bayern München? I personally would welcome such a move, which is why I'm starting the rumour. Go on, my good people, spread the news.

What's frightening is how many of our supporters would like to see this.

Warnock likes to choose his own players and they are generally older and experienced.

He won't be coming to Barnsley.

Keep the cunt away from Barnsley. I'd prefer us to go down playing football than stay up playing Colin anti-football.

I'm hoping that his failure recently has proven his methods are outdated and redundant. Even to get a team promoted from D2 I think you need a bit more about you nowadays than just anti-football and intimidation.

He should have left Cardiff 6 months ago tbh. They weren't going to improve under him this season.
