Well, he's got a straight back, looks good in a suit, can comb his hair and tuck his shirt in and seems to have done a decent job as Foreign Secretary, or at least hasn't put his foot in it on too many occasions.

As far as I can see, the only way that Johnson loses, and his support seems to just get stronger by the day, is if Hunt utterly convinces the CP membership of his commitment to Brexit, if he relaxes and looks like he could campaign something like as well as Johnson does and, as I've said before, if the membership looks at them both and sees Hunt as the more competent, trustworthy and prime ministerial of the two to the extent that it matters enough to make them want to change their vote.

It's tricky. Following the M23 south from London you'd be OK until both the motorway terminates and you hit the North Sussex Leave-voting badlands. There would be some hard fighting until you've crested the South Downs and can make it to the sanctuary of Brighton and Hove.

I see a 'Passport To Pimlico' scenario where Brighton officially claims it's longstanding title of Hackney-On-Sea.
