This is parliament we're talking about, remember.

Can someone explain why Stewart is prevented from admitting his service in the intelligence service(s)?

I can understand it back when "you" refused to acknowledge their existence (as ludicrous as that was), but the ban now seems as anachronistic as it is insulting to the public's intelligence.

Well, he's got a straight back, looks good in a suit, can comb his hair and tuck his shirt in and seems to have done a decent job as Foreign Secretary, or at least hasn't put his foot in it on too many occasions.

It's all relative, I grant you.

Guy would definitely have started a new thread for it though.

As far as I can see, the only way that Johnson loses, and his support seems to just get stronger by the day, is if Hunt utterly convinces the CP membership of his commitment to Brexit, if he relaxes and looks like he could campaign something like as well as Johnson does and, as I've said before, if the membership looks at them both and sees Hunt as the more competent, trustworthy and prime ministerial of the two to the extent that it matters enough to make them want to change their vote.

I don't think the Tories trust Hunt (and who can blame them) as a remain campaigner. If Raab can't outflank Johnson then no chance that Hunt can.

Could Boris be outflanked by Hunt promising no deal? (He hasn’t so far, but during a Johnson v Hunt campaign, if that’s what we get)

Made me chuckle. The contradictions that is.

Even allowing for the YG factor.

I said "wrest" and, for reasons of decorum, won't speculate as to why you read that as "wrestle".

Just as long as we find out who the mole in The Circus is.

I wouldn't fancy his chances of wresting Defence back from Penny Mordaunt.

I'm assuming that that would no longer be the case post-secession.

It is also likely that some of the secessionists would prefer to wait until Brenda is gone, lest they offend her Unionist sensibilities

I see a 'Passport To Pimlico' scenario where Brighton officially claims it's longstanding title of Hackney-On-Sea.
