Yet another reactionary High Court decision that boggles the mind.

The reliance interest of all those granted citizenship under the earlier interpretation is absolutely massive.

I'm not sure the authorities want anyone to live in the UK, citizens or otherwise.

We do have the awful habit of getting the way, to be honest.

Vacant possession is always an easier sell.

I'm sure I don't want to live in the UK, if that helps.

I just assume that part of the country has basically nobody under 40 with a future living in it.

And Unherd would be known as a politically conservative website, which makes the result all the more dramatic.

I'd never heard of it (pun accidental but noticed), but now I've looked it up and see who they employ, I have a really nasty taste in my mouth. Bunch of scum

The weird thing about this otherwise matter of fact rant by Guy Hands is his insistence that the EU is even worse off because of the deal on financial services

Also what’s he talking about in regards to Singapore? The British elite seem to think anything goes there when it’s one of the most highly regulated countries in the world.

Not when it came to the conduct of "free enterprise" by cronies of the governing class

I'm not going to watch that, because otherwise a lot of fairly expensive electronic equipment will be damaged.

Large numbers of voters feeling they've been lied to isn't necessarily goo for democracy

Well the onus is on the voters to punish those that lied to them. As much of the responsibility for 'good democracy' lies with the voting public as it does with politicians.

So now various Brexiteers have decided to meet Remainers to discuss a more constructive relationship with the EU on foreign policy and NI.

And still the fannies in the Labour Party chase a unicorn that gives them all the benefits without being in the Customs Union or Single market, and never publicly admitting Brexit has fucked the economy/supply chain.

Maybe the penny will drop in a few years, or Defence cooperation lets the EU be extremely indulgent in giving Starmer de facto CU/SM without actually calling it that lest the red wall burn down asylum centres or something.
