I have no words. It's been bad before, but this is a complete and utter humiliation. Fair play to Northeast and Cooke though. We'd struggle against most minor counties at present and probably deserve to be labelled as such.

Your bowling is pretty dreadful, it's true. Wright is fine, and Parkinson isn't bad, but the rest isn't up to it. Perhaps you can pick someone up from SACA. The batting is ok really.Comment

The batting is OK while Mulder and Ackermann are there, but wouldn't blame them for leaving at the end of the season. Parkinson isn't a captain and his bowling has suffered, Wright us OK but his no-ball record is abysmal. The bowling coach is Alfonso Thomas which might be good for the T20 bowlers but certainly has been found wanting for the longer format.

There's something wrong with the club though, you'd have beaten us earlier in the season but for run outs and no balls. And if you'd caught Cooke, as you should have done, when he was in single figures then none of this happens. I guess when losing is what you're accustomed to you find ways to lose, rather than ways to win.Comment
