The thing is that he’s a knob but that’s not the end of it. Reasonably intelligent people like us can ignore him and choose not to give him the oxygen of publicity but this doesn’t apply to others. Much of his crimes - in all senses of the word - happened before he was employed by clubs as a manager and he will still get a platform where he can reach many people. I made the mistake of reading JB's recent twitter posts after the G Nev interaction. What a mistake that was. My overwhelming reaction was I'm so glad I'm not that angry and frustrated,.It must be horrible to be like that every day, not only to be like that, but to let as many people as possible know you are that angry and frustrated about things that really shouldn't make you feel that angry and frustrated.

As ever, why grown men share such thoughts on Twitter is beyond my comprehension. A clueless teenager, I get it, I've even been there in a the 1990s version, whatever it was. But a grown man?

The other thing that gets me is that he's had a lucrative career because he is fortunate enough to be born a man. Partaking professionally in a sport most boys dream of being able to play at the level he played at. He literally has lucked out through having the right genes and gender. You can go further by highlighting he is English, so played in the most lucrative League system, and also he was born at a time when his generation got stupid money to play football compared to the generations preceding him.

If he were a woman, he would have been paid a fraction of the income he received and been given a fraction of the attention.

But the spoiled twat is angry because he doesn't get invited to talk about VAR on Football Focus.
