Race, Nationality and Gender in France during WW1

For anyone who is interested, my PhD thesis is now online on my blog, with a few (often quite entertaining) postcards/photos/posters thrown in to brighten it up.

It still has a reasonable amount of quotations in French, but they shouldn't tax anyone with basic French comprehension. I'd suggest skipping briskly through the theory section in the introduction.

My advice, as a seasoned OTF reader, is that the thesis title is rather literal and lacking in puns. Perhaps you can find a really well known thesis and borrow that title with a slight play on words? I think that'd work.

    Nice site design.

Fuck me, Josh. That's a body of work. How many words?

Do you have your PhD now, or are you still in the process?

I'm looking forward to Spearmint Rhino's OTF parody copycat thesis.

derek, i once saaw a draft paper that a colleague was writing that had "insert witty title here". I guess I could have subtitled it "a racist, sexist cavalcade!"

WoM, it's about 85,000 words. I got my doctorate a couple of years back, but as I'm not doing anything with it I thought I'd offer it up to the world in general.
