A surprising amount of Hindenburg's short report on Block consists of analysis of rap music.

I like how the steady flow of information points to a strategic disadvantage being on the West Coast.

Huh, I've managed to have a 20 year career in financial journalism without realising that Icahn was listed.

There was a time when I could bring myself to care about the highly technical differences between being "listed" on an exchange such as the NYSE and "quoted" on a system such as NASDAQ (as is Icahn).

There is a bit of liberation in letting go of such things.

briankrebs@infosec.exchange - Wow. Anyone know what this is related to?
"The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced the largest-ever award, nearly $279 million, to a whistleblower whose information and assistance led to the successful enforcement of SEC and related actions. This is the highest award in the SEC’s whistleblower program’s history, more than doubling the $114 million whistleblower award the SEC issued in October 2020."

                  That's a lot of money.

The programme has been very successful for the Commission and DOJ, and there is now a small cadre of lawyers specialising in representing whistleblowers.

The FCA has censured LC&F. That'll teach 'em!

A good update on the (ongoing) status of the Madoff money recovery after 15 years.

Well yes - we outsource recovery and the expense gets paid by regulatory fees which will never get passed back to the consumer.
