From an FT story on the coming border control clusterfuck:
Ms Moreton said Border Force would struggle if the UK left the bloc without a withdrawal deal. Mr Hawkins said while there had been an initial agreement in the first quarter of last year that the government would prepare a long-term plan for Brexit and beyond, “things have gone a bit quiet”.

“Now we’re being told they might do it but ‘now’s not the right time’,” he said.

          Lovely man, Borghezio

In 1993, he was sentenced to pay a fine of 750,000 lire for violence on a minor. He forcefully held and turned over to the police a 12-year-old Moroccan unregistered street seller.

In July 2005, Borghezio was found guilty of arson, for setting fire to the pallets of some migrants sleeping under a bridge in Turin during a vigilante raid. For this he was sentenced to two months and twenty days in prison, converted into a fine of €3,040.
He’s been expelled from the EFD, but is still a MEP.

He's unexpelled from the Northern League? Jesus.

In May 2011, Borghezio made inflammatory remarks after the arrest of Ratko Mladić, the Serbian military leader indicted for war crimes at the Hague, including the genocide of 8000 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica. Borghezio was quoted as saying that "Mladić is a Patriot" and "The Serbs could have halted the advance of Islam into Europe, but they weren't allowed to do so."
Where were these Bosnian Muslims advancing from?

She isn't, though she's probably no worse than Steve Baker. She's stepping up to media Brexiter plate, which even most Brexiters are shying away from because they can see the shitshow.

Tubbs, the "Northern League/Lega Nord" no longer exists.

It's just the "League/Lega" and yes, he's still a member in good standing.

She is an MP, this is not a low-grade job and even a backbencher is given a fair bit of responsabilities. She sounds like one of those religious types outside stations telling you God will provide if you believe in Him....

Greg Hands MP (Con, Chelsea and Fulham) caught talking bollocks.

Same time. Who knows? Just the spectre of English rightwingers objecting to parts of Ireland being "annexed" by others is inherently amusing

Yeah. I think the EU demanding Anglesey shades it for me.

Labour's Head of Trade Policy, I've just read, is a Brexiter, called John Hilary. He's likely behind Labour abstaining on the EU-Japan trade deal, and not Gardiner as might have seemed likely.

                                          This is not impressive.

Nothing about Labour's Brexit strategy is impressive. Inasmuch as they have one.

                                                  Here's yer man's Head of Trade's Lexit.

It's not very good. A particular irritation is him citing Tony Benn's "5 questions about democracy" (the EU's undemocratic, he says) while also complaining that the EU doesn't offer enough protections against UK prime ministers in some areas. Plus he seems to want judges to be elected. And Syriza represent democracy when they want a write down for Greece, but the other government don't represent democracy when they say no thanks.

Zero interest in what an alternative relationship with the EU might be like, or Ireland.

That Telegraph Lisbon Treaty thing looks a long shot. Such a killer legal argument, nobody wants to own it publicly.

The "senior Whitehall source" there is a Tory Spad, isn't it? Who's doing Stewart Jackson's old job these days?
