Where are all the blind people?

    Yeah.

Which is fine, but who deals with the people who are made anxious by the animals' being around?

Do people get made anxious by service dogs?

A bit. Not much. I've not happened across dogs in unusual places for anxiety, as yet. I'm used to the odd guide dog in food hall and suchlike yeah.

Service dogs tend to stick to their knitting. It's the office-worker-Pugs that you need to watch for around your lunch and whatnot.

Yeah it's anticipatory anxiety I have so far.

Just picked up on this passing comment of ursus' — is this really a thing, as in some charity training and supplying Reassurance Dogs for the Anxious?
They're the right animal for reassurance. They're always laughing.

That's 10,000 guide dogs on a population of 300 million.
While we have 300 on population of 9 million

Makes me feel I wasn't so wrong with this guide dog question. As a teen, I saw them at least once a month.
