    So, Burundi then

    Not really
    Not that I would mind
Just that I never did one of these and wanted to see what it felt like.

I feel.... nothing really. I'm like ice to the experience.

Very undeveloped country. Every European needs a visum, which can be obtained in Belgium, Berlin, or London; not really close to where I live. Active rebel groups. Curfew laws. I'll give Burundi a miss for a while.

Would like to do a two-week Namibia-Botswana-Zimbabwe tour like this one one day soon. Maybe in June, but maybe later.

      So, Burundi then

I was once driven home by a taxi driver who came from Burundi, and who spent the journey telling me at considerable length about what had happened there in the 1990s.

One of the angriest people I ever met in my life, even though the anger wasn't directed at me personally. I had aged a couple of years by the time I got to my house.

The wonderfully named Saidi Ntibazonkiza is from Burundi.
