He barely ever talks about being a Muslim, he openly condemns Islamic extremism, and yet, he is routinely slurred, degraded and dehumanised by far right and even soft right wing voices.

After the attack in Sydney the usual accounts started tweeting Islamophobic and then antisemitic conspiracy theories. It looks like the attack was misogynistic.
