Not sure how many OTFers were active/adults in the early '80s. I remember collecting for the miners in Tewkesbury. The hostility and venom we met were hints of the society Thatcher's successors have made.

They're still taking it out on those who dared oppose them. Ex-miners die in poverty as government takes pension funds, say campaigners.
