My joke seems to have missed.
In the U.S., at least, the weather people often talk about a snow storm in terms of "inches of accumulation," meaning how deep the snow will be on the ground when the snow stops falling.
McDonald's name for their thing that is exactly like DQ's is something very similar to Blizzard, but I can't recall exactly, so I made that up.

That's actually a worse name than I thought. Blizzard implies a torrent of refreshing flavor. Flurry implies "you probably won't even notice it."Comment
