And he wades in on the "England flag" fury
He should have solely concentrated on the extortionate cost and not even mentioned the "fun redesign"

The silly sod is terrified of upsetting flagshaggers and having them head off to Reform, once again Farage is a political genius, he doesn't have to worry about actually getting elected, he just has to rely on a supine and compliant media to spread his word and push the political needle ever rightwards.Last edited by Eggchaser; 22-03-2024, 15:44.

It's not a red herring, it's a sign of Labour tacking sharply to the right, promising nothing and expelling socialists.
IF...you were to raise your eyes from the polls/GE for a few minutes, you might recognise that the chances for a decent and oh-so-necessary realignment to the left of Labour is becoming more possible.
But yeah, "irrelevant"...

- Far too many, currently...
Possibly, but party memberships are usually only important in selecting new leaders, along with disproportionately, diminishingly shaping policy.
But not so much in GE years sadly.
Especially in the political direction of travel taken.

a. The current mob in charge of the party can't stop losing people's personal details because they're a bunch of clowns
b. You have to go out of your way to tell the party you're leaving, so most people just stop the direct debit and it takes the party a few months/years to recognise that as a lost member.
