About three weeks ago I booked a hotel in Malta for a break in July. I was very pleased with the deal, it had everything I wanted for this trip - pool, bar, sea view, breakfast included. Booked it free cancellation, pay at the hotel (I always do that in case my plans change). Job done, I thought, put it to the back of your mind.
I'm pleased I did book it that way! I went on booking.com again today to check the hotel to remind myself of where it was on the Sliema map. And the exact same room spec (not the exact room, well I trust not), same board basis, etc, now being advertised at almost £100 cheaper for the same four nights! Naturally I've booked again at that rate and cancelled the first. Booking.com must be used to this; their app actually has a button to tick to automatically cancel the first one as it's spotted what you're up to.
Always worth checking, isn't it?!
