I think it's great that despite the disappointment of going out to , that has/have decided to stay on the team until 2012 to have one last go at crowning off a great career with an international honour.

What a shame that couldn't keep up their sparkling form from the group stage. It's just too much to expect to sustain that kind of play over seven games, which I suppose is why ended up winning, even though they did fuck all to entertain us the whole fucking month of my life I've just wasted sat on my arse in front of a TV and on internet forums posting my worthless opinions.

Pretty much every US supporter I've seen moaned about Ghana diving all over the place against them. Germany had 2 players booked in the first game for diving, maybe that calmed them down.

I'd agree that the US team were the least histrionic.
