      Good finale here.

Hell of a chop on that from McManus. Hampshire have this in the bag, surely.

Hants get the win with 7 balls to spare.

Somerset v Sussex just underway at Taunton but Somerset can't get the live stream to work at the moment. Sussex are in, 5/0 (1.2) according to Cricinfo.

Now live. The score a pleasingly round 50/1 (10.0).

A third of the innings completed, 100/1.

Edit, and Wright brings up his 50 with a six.

Wright is going hell for leather now.

Couple of wickets suddenly changes the feel of this one. Wright is still there but things are looking a bit more rocky for the visitors.

                      Ton up for Wright.

Blimey, this Wiese guy can hit the big ones.

Somerset have been set 342 to win.

Trego is c&b by Robinson, Somerset now 24/2.

Sussex won by 75 runs with Somerset bowled out, Sharma wrapping up the Somerset tail.

Lots of matches underway today; the only live stream I can find at the moment is N'hants v Lancs:

Bloody hell, Notts have made 363 and still have five overs left.

Essex have completed their innings - 303 (for 6) from their 300 balls away at Hampshire.

So the scores on the doors today:

                                  Yorks require 351 v Worcs 350/6 (50.0)
                                  N'hants require 280 v Lancs 279/8 (50.0)
                                  Leics require 410 v Notts 409/7 (50.0)
                                  Derbys require 273 v Durham 272/8 (50.0)
                                  Surrey require 283 v Gloucs 282/6 (50.0)
                                  Hants require 304 v Essex 303/6 (50.0)

None of the sides batting first ended up all out.

                                  And the later match:
                                  Glamorgan v Middlesex 47/0 (6.2)

Notts' score of 409 is the 5th highest total in the 50-over competition (now into its fifth season) and the highest made so far at Grace Road.

Notts have four of these top five scores, with the third highest being a Northants side visiting Trent Bridge (and being beaten by the highest score, 445).

Obviously I'm slightly wary of claiming much about a record that only dates back to 2014, but as far as I can see the highest score for a B&H Cup match was Essex making 388/7 against Scotland in 1992, and that was off 55 overs. So presumably these One Day Cup high scores are in fact all-time records?

Aha! No, it missed out the whole Friends Provident / Gillette / NatWest / C&G era. Some big scores there, including this 496 record from Surrey.

Why can't they keep all the 50-over county match records together, the bastards?

Yes, but how many of the top 4 scores were made by the home team putting the opposition in to bat first on a featherbed? FFS Carberry.

Sky appear to have the TMS short form duo of Charles Dagnall and Ebony Rainford-Brent helming their coverage. This is undoubtedly a good thing but a little discombobulating to have them actually synced with the TV pictures as opposed to just a little off the beat of them on the radio.

Bye then Carbs. Thanks for absolutely nothing except for a drain on a very limited resource.

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but over the next week or so an Aboriginal XI will be touring England to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the original Aboriginal tour.

May get to the game at The Oval, it makes an attractive double header with the previous day’s visit of Glamorgan.

They're playing against an MCC XI today, but I can't find a stream. I can find Lancs v Yorks in the One Day Cup though (standard fixed camera job):

Lancashire have my least favourite one day county kit I've seen so far.

Lancs were cruising at 218-2 chasing 380 but then lost wickets. Big performance from Willey: 131 + 4-59
