    The Davis Cup finals are back, and the BBC correspondents (along with 90% of people I expect) already haven't grasped the format, reporting that GB will have beaten France 'with a match to spare' if Norrie follows Evans with a win. Yes they will, but in the groups, every single match - indeed every single set - counts, so it will be, if anything, even more vital for chances of progression that the doubles team also wins their 'dead rubber', ideally in straight sets.

        Meanwhile, the WTA suspends all tournaments in China over the Peng issue. Well done WTA. Over to you to do the right thing too, IOC, we won't hold our breath.

          Never mind the IOC (well, actually, do mind the IOC), the ATP is hardly covering itself in glory either. Very poor.
