...and it turns out he was at the same gig as me in Hove last Sunday.

Skinner says he keeps a tape recorder next to his bed and he has to play them as soon as he wakes up in the morning.

And that he interviewed Mark E Smith once, who turned up an hour late and said "Hello Stuart..."

And he's just gone on about the lyrics to "The Jawbone And The Air Rifle".

And that he's only been a Fall fan for 3 or 4 years but he's obsessed.

I think he's done with The Fall now.

The new Fall Album

I can top Worn Old Motorbike (see post at top of page). The other morning I had a total of seven family and extended family members express their horror at '50 Year Old Man' as I was making breakfast. Queuing up, they were, but they all know me well enough not to dare turn it off. I've also taken to cycling home from the pub and singing with gusto to the darkened houses, "I'm a 43-year-old man and ah liiiiiike it." And I do.
