Unbeknownst to me, Hulk Hogan released two LPs in the mid-90s.

REM's Man In The Moon, twice over:
Mott the Hoople and the Game of Life (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Andy Kaufman in the wrestling match (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Monopoly, twenty-one, checkers, and chess (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Mister Fred Blassie in a breakfast mess (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Andy Kaufman used to wrestle women during his stage act and had a much-publicised 'feud' with Jerry "The King" Lawler (great Memphis wrestler and promoter and later WWF/E commentator) including a famous violent altercation on David Letterman's show, only revealed to be staged by Jim Carrey at the time of the Man In The Moon film.
Around the same time (1983) Kaufman also starred in the film My Breakfast With Blassie along with legendary old-time wrestling villain and manager "Classy" Freddie Blassie. And Blassie, who notoriously used to file his teeth in interviews during his in-ring career then bite opponents, released his own album I Bite The Songs in that same year.

Right up there with Dr Spin and the theme music to Tetris.

My younger brother had the Big Daddy annual one year and if he got as far as having an annual he must surely have knocked out a cash-in single or two as well. He presented a Saturday morning kids show in the Tiswas/Swap Shop slot for a while too, which seems bizarre in retrospect.
