              pS I don;t get the Cullercoats clue in total. I get Cull ER, and have now discovered that Winslow Homer lived there, but coats? Portmanteaus are big leather bags

                        Much as I enjoyed a very restful holiday locally- it was like living inertia- aren't villages a bit too obscure as clues? I suppose you could say the same of dreary hillside suburbs, of course
