A rather stylish (I thought) two today, atoning for yesterday's six (SNAFU being a last desperate throw when I literally couldn't think of anything else; I'd had SNA-- from guess three)

Going back to yesterday, my wife had SNA** after 5 lines with of course nearly all common letters ruled out. With the remaining 16 letters that could go in spots 4 and 5, only one of the 256 possible combinations resulted in a word in Wordle's list of "words", so she got "snafu" on line 6 by a process of brute force elimination after trying over 100 of the other possible combinations first.
