It looks like either this is a new but similar vacancy to the previous one I mentioned on here, or they simply didn't find anyone from the previous advertising of the role.

Anyway, this post has just been advertised on LISjobnet today. However, a little bit of rooting around would seem to indicate that it was first advertised at the beginning of August, on another site. Either way, it's the same people actually dealing with the applications - Sue Hill, a specialist library/information recruitment agency.

Did anyone here happen to apply (or even get) that last job I posted up on here?

I wonder if they strictly stick with 'information professionals' (as librarians like to call themselves, these days)? If so, I wasn't entirely sure they did so.

No, this was years ago, in one of my many career crisis moments. This looks like one of those jobs that's too good to be true, which usually means a big pay cut and moving house.
