The likelihood of any matches being played tomorrow down here is vanishingly small - at least for non-league matches. It's been pouring with rain all day and there isn't so much as a glimmer of blue sky to be seen in any direction. I'd be tempted to give Brighton vs Huddersfield a go, but I went to that game a couple of seasons ago and it was the probably worst football match that I've ever been to.

Anyway, after yesterday's FA Youth Cup tie at Forest (beat Birmingham 1-0), I think I'll nip along to Evostik Div One South relegation battlers Carlton, who host Romulus tomorrow. Gate of about 60 expected, tops.

Carlton were improving, until recent postponements, but the season's getting nervous now, and I've not been since early December.

They have bottles from the local Flipside Brewery available.
