Live in the Freezer - Weekend Matchgoing

    Can't decide between

    Hendon v Lewes

    or

    Edgware Town v Crawley Green

Depends on what time I get going...

Got some freebies for O's v Exeter tomorrow, so planning to take daughter and friend and his dad. Anticipating record levels of complaining about the cold (from her) and about the football (from me)

Exactly how cold is it going to be this weekend then?!

I'm doing a hotly-anticipated double-header of matches with the boy. Wimbledon v Mansfield on Saturday (my first Dons match in ages) and Harlequins v Cardiff Blues on the Sunday (which may be a test of the boy's loyalties).

      .

Chelsea V Everton at the Bridge. Usually a closely-contested affair.

Looking forward to a nice, warm post-match pub already.

Might try to meld in some Lumiere London sights afterwards too:

Basconia v Santutxu. It's a very short metro ride so it'd be rude not to.

I have now learned that Basconia are essentially Athletic Bilbao C. Hopefully I'll see a future 'crack'.

Edgware v Crawley is the biggest game of the season so far in our division.

Motorway bashing for Barnet v Carlisle. It'll be a new ground tick so hopefully worth the effort.

Too late. Plans are made, expectations are raised. On the plus side, they only seem to be charging us half price, so if it's shit at least it'll be affordable shit.

NUFC v West Ham....our best performances this season have generally been against those at the top end of the table..but worry about the mind set that allowed Leicester to look the best team to visit SJP so far....

York v Newport. Might need to buy a programme to work out who our players are - just the 5 new arrivals since our last game.

Accrington's match is postponed. After 5 matches postponed for rain/waterlogging, this week the frost has caused a postponement.
That is no home games since 14th November. and even that was a bit of a farcical game played in soggy conditions (a draw v Newport).

so it looks like a trip to ewood park for Brighton's visit

you missing the big one GO? I did contemplate it, I rarely do QPR games outside the M25 but went to Milmoor 4 times in another lifetime and yet to do the NYC stadium.

settling for taking my daughter to the Windsor farm shop

No idea if they'll all start against Barnsley, but it will be mildly diverting to play spot the new player as they come out.

If there is a more picturesque and hospitable place to watch football and South African wickets, I've not found it in 1335 grounds.
