Design the FA Cup Final mascot
Let's go for a Euros style mascot duo, like Flip and Flop, or Biff and Boff, or whatever the last few were called.
I propose Dev and Rev, short for Devalued and Revalued. Their design is a fairly standard cup with arms and legs except Dev is only 3 inches tall, whereas Rev is an imposing 45 feet high. Lead mascot role can be given to either depending upon the prevailing situation in terms of big club participation, broadcasting prestige, etc.

Are Partick Thistle getting entry to the FA Cup?
We have played in it, but that was back in about 1883.
I'm guessing they were looking for as many different creatures as possible for that photo, and couldn't find a Brentford bee so they settled for a Thistle one.

A few points to be made:
1) It's depressing when it appears that all the Blue Peter presenters are now younger than you (although the slightly stubbly guy might be borderline, he could easily be in his early 30s).
2) Wouldn't it have made more sense just to have had the mascots of the eight teams left - only Gunnersaurus and Fred The Red are representative of the remaining octet.
3) My idea would be to make the Wembley tunnel look like the opening of a velvet bag and have multiple mascots dressed up as giant numbered balls. Preferably under the auspices of fifty-foot tall foam headed caricatures of Graham Kelly and Bert Millichip.

In a similar vein, the Poland 2016 handball championships has a mascot but it doesn't have a name!
