Maybe Sam Kelly can elaborate, but something about Boca Juniors forming some alliance with AFC this Saturday…

Bizarrely, it seems that some Boca fans just happened to notice the similarities in the designs of the two clubs' jerseys, and travelled to Wimbledon purely to get in touch. This in turn led the Dons to organise a five-a-side game for tomorrow between supporters and volunteers of both teams.

I hope so, Wimbledon have them on Saturday following tonight's horror show at Franchise.
3-0 down after 22 minutes, one of them a freakish own goal from key defender Ryan Johnson who injured himself in the process. His replacement Paul Kalambayi was one of two from the back four to get sent off (though it was a farcical red card that should be appealed against) meaning The Dons look pretty threadbare at the back for a few games.Last edited by Ray de Galles; 24-01-2024, 11:24.

I’ll go in to more detail on the hysterical (in both senses of the word) events at the end of Wimbledon v Mansfield in my match report but The Stags assistant manager Andy Garner’s behaviour throughout was immensely bizarre, culminating in this after the final whistle :

Mansfield beat Harrogate 9-2 last night, a particularly surprising result as Harrogate had been unbeaten in six games previously and had been on an upward curve whereas Mansfield had apparently looked a little flat recently. Both Mansfield and Crewe - who displayed their current great form with a fine 3-1 win at Edgeley Park - now chasing down Stockport at the top of the division.
