probably doesn't deserve to be in a list with some of the aforementioned (definitel doesn't deserve to be in a list with a couple), but good god this man... all the reasons i watch football, wrapped up in one delightful package. technique, creativity, excitement, pace.

it isn't exaggeration to say that sometimes i find myself amazed that someone like this would be playing for us.

also i laugh because, in my mind, the english mind, the number ten is generally the centre forward who isn't good enough to be the number nine.

man, i'm a soppy old get, but.. sometimes the result is less important than getting to see something transcendentally beautiful.
