Why are all the "assistants" in the OP people with exaggerated physical abnormalities who were largely unsuited for the role and rude to their bosses? I've been an "assistant" on several occasions in my career and only a few of those things were ever mentioned about me.

Cato maybe wasn't an assistant per se, but deserves a mention for trying to kick the shit out of Clouseau at any and every opportunity.

But it seems like somebody, somewhere wished there was a Wacky Races film so hard that they didn't let a little thing like it not existing stop them.

For two-and-a-half years I was a research assistant in a laboratory. However, I take no offence at being portrayed as a leering, sycophantic hunchback.
