Great stuff.

AI upscaling can work quite well if the source is of a decent quality to start with (these would appear to be DVD rips) but there's too many people on YouTube trying to do this with VHS recordings and it just looks weird. That's when you start getting the indecipherable text and whirlpool eyes.

I still buy second-hand 480px DVDs, as my DVD player does a pretty good job of upscaling them. The difference between those and Blu-Ray is detectable but it isn't night and day. Also I don't have a huge TV.
