Oh that's a shame. I know him for playing Peter Guillam in the Alec Guiness version of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, but I think most people might know him as Raquel's dad in Only Fools and Horses (he's the one that tells Del the pocket watch in his garage is worth millions).

Jayston starred as the spy in the eponymous TV series Quiller a decade or so after the release of the film The Quiller Memorandum, which he wasn't in.
