Not a long time presence on our screens but I distinctly remember her as a sprightly, intelligent, funny and mischievous presenter who never took herself or her profession too seriously. I liked her. Later became a counsellor I believe. Taken way too soon by an aggressive brain tumour.

IIRC, she was "acceptable posh totty" for a while, but as you say, her presenting was far better than that and was sharp as a tack and funny with it. RIP.

I always used to confuse her with Annabel Croft (the Brit former tennis player currently hoofing it up on Strictly). Because of the 1st name, similar(ish) looks as they got older, age and middle-classness, I suppose.
