Worst Last Film Of An Actor's Career

Peter Sellers - some Fu Manchu rubbish

Sextette is supposed to be spectacularly bad (3.8 on Imdb ) and was the last film of Mae West and Walter Pidgeon, as well as the second last of George Raft.

I could include The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen for Sean Connery, but I personally don't think it's that bad a film.

Didn't he do it for the money to leave for his family?

That and his kids really liked the game, so him playing the end boss would be a big deal for them.

I haven’t seen ‘Cocaine Bear’ but I have read reviews suggesting that, as his last film, Ray Liotta’s legacy wasn’t enhanced by his appearance in it.

He's excellent in Black Bird (currently running on Apple TV.) It's a series not a movie, and I don't know if it precedes Cocaine Bear or not, but it's a worthy last act.

Can we include Bela Lugosi in Plan 9 From Outer Space?

Atoll K. The last Laurel & Hardy film. Awful.

Unless he's counting The Story Of Mankind.

I came here to mention Sextette, which is a staggeringly bad film. One of the worst I've ever seen. I think it might have been Keith Moon's final appearance in a movie too, but he wasn't really an actor.

Strewth. I had a look at the trailer on IMDb. Based on the general vibe, and in particular a staggering piece of overacting by Ringo Starr, it’s possible it might be in “so bad it’s good” territory.

Walter Pidgeon, George Raft and, er, Van McCoy are also in it in their last or nearly last roles

Surely the all-time winner here is Orson Welles in Transformers: The Movie?

Beating off some fairly stiff competition (fnarr fnarr), it's generally considered that 'Carry on Emmanuelle' was the barrel-scraping nadir of the long-running series and perhaps not coincidentally, Kenneth Williams' last screen role (other than a much later cartoon voiceover)..
