    Café Royal Books

Has anyone else seen the chapbooks from this publisher?

The publish chapbooks of documentary photography (mainly from Britain and Ireland).

I picked up Football Fans 1991 from Richard Davis & Hackney 1970s - 1980s shot by Neil Martinson. And could have got another half a dozen. (or even more, looking at the currently available page.)

They get discussed a bit in a somewhat less obvious thread

      They're remarkable aren't they?

They're basically a one stop shop for your Christmas shopping. Someone grew up in 1980s Manchester? Buy them a book of pics. They're into jazz and blues? They're a book of amazing photos.

They're produce so many books, with such an intensive release schedule, it's unusual and impressive. Even though I believe it's a part-time labour of love.

One of their titles from the latter part of last year featured a picture of one of my grandfathers - I took full advantage of that stroke of luck.

I just received one in the mail this week: Caroline Coon. They publish at a remarkable pace. I think it's one new issue a week.
