Much as I dislike West Ham, I'd be sorry to see them go under completely, as seems to be a concern. But I don't mind the football gods bringing on a bit of pain on them.

The most injury prone midfielder in the world back in action?

Yeah, he got on for the last 20 minutes. It was pretty cold though, so he is due to be out for 3-4 weeks with a nastily chapped lip.

Apparently Man City have offered £4m & Michael Johnson for Scott Parker! If I was WHU Id snap their hands off, in fact Id snap their hands off if offered a straight swap.
If its true then Im now doubting Hughes's sanity.

Apparently WH have turned down a double deal for Parker and Bellamy as well.

Stoke have signed Matthew Etherington from the Hammers. I'm sure Etherington will be delighted by these comments from Tony Pulis:

"No disrespect but we are at a club where we can't deal in the top bracket of players we would like to bring here.

You are always working below that. We are not at Crufts, we are at Battersea Dogs Home. We are looking for strays. We are looking for people who have gone astray with the aim of bringing them back.

You look for players who have gone off the rails and for whatever reason have not fulfilled their potential."

He's taking a gamble in signing for Stoke.

                    Sorry.
