I'll applaud that. But it's a touch of the arsenal, ad hoc. Too much tippy tappy trying to get the perfect clue, when you should just be pumping anagrams into the box.
Just to confirm, High Weald was correct. Apologies if it was a little obscure. Royal Tunbridge Wells is on the edge of the High Weald, intoxicated = High, woodlands = Weald, and the confusion was possibly caused by me wording the clue slightly incorrectly because I thought the sentence sounded more elegant that way.
