Anyone heard the new album yet? I'm quite excited about it, it's had some great reviews.
The thing is it's winter music isn't it? Shut the curtains at tea-time - Rain battering down outside - Summer has died and Portishead are back in town.
I can't imagine listening to it as Spring time blossoms.

Reviews have been universally very positive which is a real success for a band that have been AWOL for so long and whose past music had become somewhat discredited.

I'm kind of looking forward to listening to it now.

You obviously don't buy the WIRE then. A member of our parish isn't so keen on it. I like the single but thought they were one of the most boring bands I've ever seen live recently.
