I think that could have been decisive. Jones, who was dropped, moves on to 22 and England are 31/2. Should be straightforward now.

Sciver's one-knee boundaries have been wonderful.

Well, that was efficient. Came back out needing only 9 more because of the overs lost to rain. Did it in the first three balls - 4,4,1. England win by 7 wickets DLS.

The Guardian report seemed to think they had a real scare, although you'd usually assume they had two or three wickets in reserve if they needed them. Good to see the wickets shared all around for England.

I think their batting isn't as deep as it has been in the past, but yeah it needed Bangladesh to take every half chance.

Fantastic rant by Charles Dagnall on the TMS podcast about the umpiring especially vis a vis penalty runs being awarded for running down the pitch.

Pakistan have set Ireland 140 to win, so I think PK will take the points in this one.

The later game feels do-or-die for NZ, doesn't it?

Australia are going to take some stopping, aren't they?

Well, this could be an interesting chase. Bangladesh restricted Sri Lanka to 97/7 but are themselves 3/2 in the third over.

So, as against England, it's Ayasha Rahman to the fore for Bangladesh.

A very smart catch and she's gone, probably with Bangladesh's hopes here too.

Not sure about that. Pretty even still I think.

Very similar dismissals, weren't they, snaffled at short extra.

The RRR is creeping up all the time. Jahanara Alam hit a couple of boundaries against England, and Bangladesh need to go big now.

Jahanara comes out after the fifth wicket falls, she's moved up a place in the order compared to the England match.

Oh, and she's gone. I think the win is pretty safe for Lanka now.

Windies v South Africa the late game - winner goes top of this group.

Timings are different tomorrow, with Ireland v India at 3pm GMT and NZ v Pak in the 8pm slot, no midnight game. But back to the 8pm/midnight combo for Friday, the first of those being Eng v SA.

Ireland have put India in first. If India win, they will go through to the semi finals with Australia from Group B.
