I only know of that Bob Ross as a meme / sight gag. I've never seen the show, had never heard of it back its 'day', and until just now didn't know he's been dead for over 20 years.

The thing that's mostly following me around at the moment seems to be a National Geographic show about some kind of gold prospectors in the Klondike. I've found it three times while channel hopping in hotels with nothing else to watch.

Jeopardy always seems to be on. And some variant on NCIS, which seems like your grandmother's version of CSI.

I was just about to say NCIS. The Chase also seems to always be on, and there's a TV channel called (I think) "Pure Entertainment" that I've only ever come across in hotel rooms, and that as far as I can tell shows nothing but crap noughties Taggart episodes.
