What the hell happened that Wood got knifed? She seemed reasonably competent if a bit obvious populist (in ways that would haunt Plaid if they ever got near power).

Not sure if Wood was the person behind Plaid campaign strategy but all they had was a "Labour are shit; vote Plaid" message on the bumf that came through my door which was frankly unappealing. Their election results were poor in 2016 and 2017 and they backed Remain so 'lost' that one too.

Actually their results were static in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
