Occasionally I wish I had a modern puter so I could play the space exploration game No Man's Sky and chill in its 70s sci-fi art worlds. Now some players have put together a community NMS star atlas which is well worth a browse if you like vivid skies, improbable animals and unexpected human touches. For instance, one planet holds a tribute to a player's dead mother. I suppose this means it's possible there are nastier human intrusions, but I'm a sucker for landscapes with giant planets and/or moons in the sky, so I'm happy to risk it.
