There should probably be an “Oh, Are They Still Playing?” thread in music for bands like CoC, though nobody ever really splits up (or at least, stays split up) do they?

Loved them around the time of ‘Blind’ and ‘Deliverance’ and ‘Vote With A Bullet’ was a minor classic but lost touch with what they did after that. I think the chart placing you mention says more about sales charts nowadays then the band’s relative contemporary strength given that the two albums mentioned above have US sales of close to 250,000 and 400,000 respectively.

First LP, 'Eye for an Eye' is a great slab of mid-80s US hardcore, along with the tracks on the Pushead comp, "Cleanse the Bacteria" (worth it for the Siege tracks alone). By the second LP, name I forget, they were caught up in the crossover bullshit that also included DRI and any other rubbish released by Combat Core. They did do a single on Southern Lord, which judging by the other acts on he label suggests they are not all that bad now.
