    NBA 2018/19: LET'S. FUCKING. GO.

I may change the name at some point, or I may not.

I sure as hell hope I annoy EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU THIS SEASON.

Just remember that Paul George preferred Oklahoma City

Not everyone is strong enough to take a chance. Mentally weak. That, and afraid of what Russ would do to him if he left.

OKC's finances are in a world of trouble.

The owner already drove his supercar into a literal concrete wall. It says something that things have gotten worse since then.

This will be fun. The television guys must be over the moon.

Cleveland can't feel betrayed this time. He did what he could.

And he brought them the championship they had been waiting for for 50 years

Well, since yesterday the Lakers have made some head-scratching moves. Not sure if LeBron wanted to play alongside Lance Stephenson, Javale McGee, Kentavious Cantwell-Pope, and now Rajon Rando. They let Julius Randle walk, and he signed with New Orleans.

And now, the Warriors have just added DeMarcus Cousins. If he can get healthy, they can start a top-3 player at every position. That's just scary.

The site NBA Math has attempted to come up with "GOAT points", using the stat TPA (total points added) as a guide. They explain their methodology. The link is a season-by-season look at the leaders, and their total contributions. It's really interesting to look at over time. The main takeaways for me: Kareem was much better than he usually gets credit for and needs to be in the pointless GOAT debates more often, Charles Barkley and Clyde Drexler were really, really good, and how fast LeBron rose in the standings was remarkable.

                    I for one wouldn't mind a Lakers-Dubs Celts-Sixers foursome for the next few years....but...uh....

...who else is going? (echoing what Inca is saying.)

Unless Kawhi goes, it's a straight up wash. It's Zlatan or Beckham going to the MLS.

                      An unlikely intervention.
