The hardly unbiased Clarets Player commentators saying it was a dive. And then going mad when a Claret was "blatantly" held down the other end without a call.

Sam Vokes makes it 1-1. Crucial away goal.

It's just occurred to me that this match was AFC v BFC, which is nice.
Thread title says 2018/18, by the way. Is that a typo or are you abandoning hope of being in the competition at the business end?

Yes, terrific stuff from Hibs to give themselves a chance of progressing.
Listening to the 2nd half of the game from Pittodrie and the commentators praising Sam Cosgrove just makes me even more frustrated that Keith Curle never really gave him a chance at Carlisle last season.

I went to the Hibs game tonight. Definitely a game of two halves. Hibs were poor in the first half, those around me blaming team selection and playing players out of position. A couple of adjustments at half time produced a much better performance, no doubt helped by an early goal. Once the second went in it almost seemed inevitable that Hibs would get the winner, although several people around me had left by the time it was actually scored. On full time we got a bonus reenactment of The Birds as the gull population of Edinburgh came looking for scraps of pie.
If Hibs are to hold on in Greece next week they will have to tighten up at the back - it should be recalled that they conceded four in their previous away game in the Faeroes; I don't think they can rely on scoring six next week.

Scrappy but entertaining enough game, both sides with the odd chance. 'Highlight' of the match though was Dundalk's Pat Hoban receiving a yellow card for dissent, then a red card......... then being called back from his trudge to the dressing room as the ref had made a mistake and he hadn't previously been booked.
