I can see Spain from here: Portugal v Morocco

    CR-7?

    #2
Anyone know what the deal is with the teenagers in red coming out every game and taking a picture with ref's?
Was an Asian kid today, have seen an African, European more than once.
Kids who won some competition, refugee kids?

Must be confusing for Portugal to play against eleven players sporting their own usual kit.

Isn't this an exact copy of a goal Ronaldo scored in the Euro's two years ago?

I may have said this during their last game but that red green red looks great. It's a very different shade to Portugal's isn't it?

I was going to say "I don't think he will get that many..." but may have to revise that opinion.

Rather it were Messi, but it's hard to argue with four goals in 95 minutes of play. The guy just delivers.

Has someone just told Ronaldo about Just Fontaine or something?

Morocco's kit could be an hommage to Portugal's at the 84 Euros

Their current shades of both colours are noticeably darker

When was the goal scored? Morocco kicked off afterwards at 5:40 ish.

I was going to say it is an old school Portugal kit/colours.

I can't recall an outfield player in a scrum cap before, is this a first?

                          Inside four minutes.

Rui Patricio with a great save there.

Christian Chivu wore one for quite a while at Inter

Yep, four minutes - now the fastest of the tournament.

I don't know about scrum caps but Corluka once wore a water polo head piece during a match.

Ah, of course. Completely forgot about that.

Morocco haven't buckled here. Portugal look very shaky right now.

They are, but can see them getting sucker punched again

Morocco in the first half against Iran were great (didn't see the second heard it was crap) and in this game too. They really deserve a goal.

Probably. Decisions not really going their way now, either.

                                            That wasn't a penalty, however.

What is the point of VAR? Either use it or not, not just when you feel like it.

they should really have had a penalty there.

That is the only downside of VAR. When blatant fouls like that are reviewed and still ignored, it can only lead to a greater sense of injustice. There are no excuses for those watching that replay for not awarding a penalty.
