3 of us started with negative points. There was a sort of unofficial league between the three, which we won. Yay!

The biggest disappointment of the season was losing out to Scunthorpe in the ToyTown Cup northern final, so the League would've had the pleasure of two sets of fans chanting obscenities at them...

Just read this edition yesterday, enjoyed the Harry Pearson column and not just because it starts with him drawing attention to Carlisle's conspiracy theorist contingent, who once again have declared that the board instructed a manager to throw a game because they didn't want the club to get promoted. The great chokes of 1983-84 and 2007-08 still get explained in these terms.
