    What's this new proposed rule in the football? Kick-outs must travel a minimum of 45 yards? Did Martin O'Neill come up with this?

    The obvious solution for the increased boringness of the football is to reduce the number of players.

      Because everyone thinks Dublin are hand passing the ball to death and if you make Cluxton kick it long it'll even things up

        Brian Fenton perhaps surprisingly beats Ciarán Kilkenny to the Footballer of the Year award, while David Clifford is a rather more predictable recipient of the Young Footballer gong.

            No complaints on either 15, in particular delighted for Jonny Cooper. Apart from the fact that I know his dad, he's generally one of the most underrated players on the Dublin side (I've seen man of the match performances given 6 or 7 out of 10 by journalists),Colm Kavanagh deserved a nod but I hate the all stars habit of shoe horning players into positions they don't normally occupy.
