Well, thinking about it, I thought that the name under which the music was credited was The Vince Guaraldi Trio, and if Linus & Lucy (the Peanuts title music) is anything to go by the trio was made up of piano, bass and drums, so it may have just been an anonymous session trombonist.

The still from the video item on the BBC's report doesn't do him any favours, it makes him look like he's lining up another salvo.

He'll be back for next season after a Sky documentary about his redemption, no doubt.
