Failed offside trap for Germany there and it's 2-2. Lovely finish.

        So, those goals in full:

0-1 England fail to take any of ten chances to clear; Germany fail to score so an England defender kicks it onto a German's boot so it goes in
1-1 England shot going nowhere hits Ellen White in the stomach and bounces in; White looks a lot less embarrassed at claiming she meant it than she should
1-2 England fail to take any of ten chances to clear; Germany fail to score so an England goalkeeper kicks it onto an England defender's boot so it goes in
2-2 Germany's offside trap goes fantastically wrong; Ellen White has more space than physically should exist on a football pitch. It's one of those where she has so much time that you know she's going to miss, but she doesn't.

Fantastic game to watch, but defensively it was a little childlike

Final group matches in the Cyprus and Algarve Cups today before the 'placement' matches. Some of the Cyprus group matches have happened already, with Wales drawing 0-0 against Switzerland which puts them in the 7/8 place match.

North Korea and Italy both racked up 7 points from 3 games to win their groups. Spain are on four points with their final match against Czechia in four hours' time. Wiki has the final as DPRK vs Italy so I don't know whether this means Spain can or can't leapfrog one of them into the Cyprus Cup final.

In the Algarve Cup it's looking like Netherlands should be in the Final having won their opening two games, but they will need to get something against Iceland in a couple of hours' time to make sure (I think). The other two groups are still quite open.

The Turkish Women's Cup (which I've also seen called the Goldcity Cup) Final will be Mexico vs France B. Northern Ireland did ok, with a defeat to Ukraine, the draw with Romania and a win over Kazakhstan. They will be playing for fifth or sixth in their placement match (tomorrow I think).

Le Sommer's goal yesterday was really nicely taken.

Austria have been very good from what I've seen. Wales have hardly had the ball.

And I totally jinxed them there. Horrible mix-up between the defender and keeper dealing with a high bouncing ball, and Wales get to equalise in an empty net. Four minutes to go.

They are going straight to penalties.

                                                Alternative tie breaker possibility?

Spain, who won the Algarve Cup last year, have defeated Italy 2-0 to win the Cyprus Cup this year.

Wasn't the greatest way for the SheBelieves Cup to be decided. Still, England have had a good tournament on the whole, with a couple of individual errors at the back being all that stopped them winning it. Communication between Chamberlain and Bright seems to be an issue.
