Went for a walk this lunchtime and checked in with how our large friend is doing. As you will see he's a bit dirty and he's leaning considerably towards the south (and yesterday's snowfall appears to have only supplemented the North face). Not looking good news for those who chose a February date unless he gets attacked by dragons

I always refer to Jan/Feb as 'the long stretch' of dark, cold and snow. Seriously shocked to find it Feb 15 already, which means I'm almost out the other end of it. March onward I can deal with.
